John Wright is an internationally recognised director and teacher of physical theatre. He was co-founder of Trestle Theatre company and Told
by an Idiot (London). He has directed work by many companies both in Britain and abroad including Third Party, Opera Circus and the Royal National Theatre Studio. John has received many awards for Theatre including the greater London award for Physical theatre, a Fringe First for Aesop and The Guardian Award for She'll be coming round the Mountain. John's workshop at An Lanntair gives a practical exploration of physical comedy, examaning the range of possibilities open to the performer, investigating how comedy works.
